Projects

​

During pre-pandemic 2019, the much-trafficked NYC museum NY Hall of Science installed a three-month solo exhibit of 50+ prints from Heidi's work, titled Celebrating Water.  During 2016-19, Heidi participated, by invitation, in a talent development project sponsored by B&H Photography in NYC, resulting in group exhibits at the Soho Photo Gallery in NYC in 2017 and 2018, and publication of two collections of her images in books titled “Icy Art” (2017) and "FOG" (2018).  In the same time period, as well as during and after the pandemic years, she also has worked on a long-term project with the Management and Staff of Rockefeller State Park Preserve (RSPP) in Westchester, NY, shooting a collection of photographic images of the evolving landscape and wildlife, documenting educational and stewardship initiatives at the Preserve., and initiating a tradition of guided seasonal photo walks.  Her images have been used for arts magazines, promotional material, websites and elsewhere to profile and publicize RSPP and NYS Parks.   In past years, she also has contributed her time and initiatives as a Board member, President and trip leader for one of Westchester’s premier photographer organizations (CCCW).
